Loupedeck Live S Review — A Better Stream Deck Alternative?

Loupedeck’s smaller Live S sits in the same price bracket as the Stream Deck MK.2 and competes on different terms — and after two weeks, it deserves the comparison.

Build quality is excellent. The 15-key grid uses a different tactile switch profile than Elgato’s, with a slightly softer press that some users will prefer. The unit ships with a customizable strip on top — basically a row of dynamic shortcut keys with their own LCDs — that has no Stream Deck equivalent.

Loupedeck’s software is the trade-off. Plugin ecosystem is meaningfully smaller than Stream Deck’s, but official integrations with OBS, Streamlabs, Spotify and Adobe Creative Cloud apps are all first-rate. If you live in those four apps, the Live S has the smoother UX.
