Hades 3 Reveal Slips Out of Game Awards Pre-Roll
Supergiant’s third Hades has been one of PC gaming’s worst-kept secrets — and a TGA pre-roll leak just confirmed what the community guessed.
A 28-second sizzle reel briefly appeared on the official Game Awards Twitch channel before being pulled. Clip showed a new protagonist (almost certainly Persephone), a mountain-temple environment, and the same hand-drawn art style.
Original Hades launched into Early Access in 2018; Hades II built on that with the Greek-to-Witchcraft pivot. Community read on Hades 3 is a more reflective character arc closing out the trilogy. Supergiant has not denied that framing.
Three Hades games in seven years from a 30-person studio is absurd cadence. Persephone framing implies deliberate trilogy ending — right way to land it.
